Glancere Privacy Policy

Effective as of 1 September 2024

This Privacy Policy describes how ReVal Legal Support Services Pvt Ltd, a corporation whose principal place of business is India, carrying on business as Glancere (“Glancere”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles personal information that we collect through our digital properties that link to this policy (collectively, the “Website”).

The Website and Glancere’s automation platform (the “Glancere App”) are intended exclusively for use by legal professionals in their business capacity (each a “Glancere App User”).

We do not offer products or services for use by individuals for their personal, family, or household purposes. Accordingly, we treat all personal information we collect in connection with the Website as pertaining to individuals in their capacities as representatives of the relevant business and not their individual personal capacities.

Importantly, this policy does not apply to information that Glancere processes on behalf of Glancere App Users while providing the Glancere App to them. Our use of information that we process on behalf of our Glancere App Users is governed by our agreements with them. If you have concerns regarding your personal information that we process on behalf of a Glancere App User, please direct your concerns to them.

Personal information you may provide to us through the Website or otherwise includes:

Contact data, such as your first and last name, salutation, email address, mailing address, professional title and company name, and phone number.

Communications data based on our exchanges with you, including when you contact us through the Website, social media, or otherwise.

Research data, such as your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes related to our business.

Marketing data, such as your preferences for receiving our marketing communications and details about your engagement with them.

Profile data, such as the username and password that you may set to establish an online account on the Website.

Online activity data, such as pages or screens you viewed, how long you spent on a page or screen, the website you visited before browsing to the Website, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about your activity on a page or screen, access times and duration of access, and whether you have opened our emails or clicked links within them.

Third parties that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the Website or our business such as Amazon Web Services.

Payment processors

Any payment card information you use to make a purchase on the Website is collected and processed directly by our payment processor.

Third parties designated by you

We may share your personal data with third parties where you have instructed us or provided your consent to do so.

Professional advisors

Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, bankers and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services that they render to us.

Law enforcement and governmental authorities as we believe in good faith to be necessary or appropriate for the compliance and protection purposes described above.

Business transitions

Relevant parties in the event of any reorganisation, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets or stock (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings). You will be notified via email and a prominent notice on our website will display within 30 days of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

If you have registered for an account with us through the Website as a representative of a business, you may review and update certain account information by logging into the account.

Do Not Track

Some Internet browsers may be configured to send “Do Not Track” signals to the online services that you visit. We currently do not respond to “Do Not Track” or similar signals.

Please note that these choices apply to your role as a representative of a business using our services. If you are using our services through your organisation’s account, your choices may be more limited and controlled by your organisation’s administrator.

The Website may contain links to websites, mobile applications and other online services operated by third parties. In addition, our content may be integrated into web pages or other online services that are not associated with us. These links and integrations are not an endorsement of, or representation that we are affiliated with any third party. We do not control websites, mobile applications or online services operated by third parties and we are not responsible for their actions.

The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We do not sell your personal information. Please see the “Your Rights” section below for more information about exercising your privacy rights regarding sales of your personal information.

European Union & UK residents

If you are a resident of the European Union or the UK, then you may have rights under data protection laws in relation to the personal information we hold about you, depending on which laws are applicable (such as the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the UK Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA). 

If you are a resident of the European Union or the UK then, for the purposes of the GDPR and DPA, in addition to what is set out above, the following applies to you: 

InfoTrack is a data controller and processor for the purposes of the GDPR and DPA and by consenting to this Privacy Policy, InfoTrack is able to process your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. 

For personal information that we process on behalf of our clients, we do so on the instructions of the client as a controller. If we process your information on behalf of a client and you wish to exercise any of your data protection rights under applicable law, please contact the relevant client directly. 

In providing services to you, InfoTrack may make use of a number of automated processes using your Personal Information and your activity on our site as tracked by us, in order to provide more tailored and relevant services to you. 

In addition to your rights set out above, you may update or rectify any of your Personal Information that we hold about you, in the manner described in the “How you can access your personal information” paragraph above.

Children

The Website is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal information through the Website from a child without the consent of the child’s parent or guardian as required by law, we will delete it.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes to it, we will notify you by updating the date of this Privacy Policy and posting it on the Website. Any modifications to this Privacy Policy will be effective upon our posting the modified version (or as otherwise indicated at the time of posting). In all cases, your use of the Website after the effective date of any modified Privacy Policy indicates your acceptance of the modified Privacy Policy.
